"Boy, that was too easy!"
Fuguri sighed with relief and looked around,
then looked down at his feet and had a shocking revelation.
The sight was so horrible he couldn't believe his eyes!
His attacks had been so wild and ferocious that everything
on the street below, stores and houses from the station to the school,
had been completely obliterated.
He thought about the friendly waitress at Hamburger Heaven,
and the cheerful man in the amusement arcade, and all of
the other people who must have been buried deep under all that wreckage.
The thought made Fuguri's blood freeze in horror.
It had been his first transformation and battle,
and he had been so intent on defeating the monster
that he had paid no attention to the buildings around him.
The street itself had been pulverized beneath his feet.
He felt like crying. He wanted to help them, and look what he had done.
The fallen monster, meanwhile, lifted its head and stared amazed at Fuguri.
